Production facility

Greenblend has a state-of-the-art production facility which ensures high-quality products and processes. The tomatoblend is produced in the Dutch town of Maasdijk, located in the municipality and cultivation area of Westland, South Holland. The facility is housed at Greenpack, one of Western Europe’s largest packaging companies and distribution centres for vegetables and fruit. The packaging process within Greenpack satisfies all applicable requirements in terms of hygiene and food safety. The facility operates according to an internal quality control system that is pioneering in the fruit and vegetable sector.

The production facility was set up in 2014 with the ambition of ensuring the highest quality and hygiene of the product. It is equipped with installations from globally operating suppliers which meet the most demanding standards in the industry. Amongst other things, the production process consists of a cutting installation, heating and cooling installations, and an aseptic filling machine. The installation satisfies the most stringent hygiene standards thanks to a clean-in-place (CIP) installation which assures automatic and thorough cleaning of the whole production processing.

The facility’s ideal location close to the source and the available infrastructure enable us to use the freshest and tastiest tomatoes in our tomato blend.
